    Marketing Specialist Career Opportunity:

    This is an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Specialist to join Ricki’s Home Office located in Winnipeg. The Marketing Specialist is responsible for the development and implementation of marketing communications and projects that are aligned with business and brand objectives. The role is a critical link between the Home Office team and our Stores in the execution of marketing communications and programs. We are looking for an enthusiastic marketer with a passion for our brand. The successful candidate is a team player that balances creativity and resourcefulness with effective administrative and communication skills.

    • Support brand initiatives with a strong social component that resonates with our target audience and grows our engagement with them.

    • Work with external vendors and agencies to ensure projects are handled in a timely manner and completed to Ricki’s brand standards, on time and on budget.

    • Assist in other areas of marketing as appropriate – may include social media, market research, or campaign execution.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Marketing or Business undergraduate degree; Creative Communications degree or

    2-5 years’ experience in Marketing or Project Management or equivalent experience.

    Strong writing and proofreading skills

    Excellent communication skills – written and verbal

    Ability to work efficiently and meet project deadlines with minimal supervision

    Strong organizational skills – able to balance competing priorities, plan, and work to deadlines

    Self-motivated – a problem solver, resourceful

    Detail oriented – skilled at planning, proofreading, producing accurate and professional deliverables

    Receives and applies suggestions, corrections, and feedback professionally

    Avid interest in fashion and retail apparel marketing

    Knowledge of social media networks – Facebook, Instagram

    Experience in digital marketing an asset – email marketing, sponsored posts, paid search

    Proficient in Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Google Docs/Sheets

    Experience in graphic design, web design and/or project management an asset

    Experience in retail stores an asset
