Comeaux Furniture and Appliance has immediate openings for Furniture Sales Associates at our New Orleans location. This is a Commission Based Position with earnings of $30k to $50K per year for the right applicant. Only serious applicants should respond to this, or you may apply in person.

Responsibilities:

Ability to work retail hours including evenings, weekends and holidays

Greet customers entering and thank customers leaving the establishment

Contribute to the store sales goal by selling furniture, appliances, bedding, home accents and product protection plans

Ensure each customer has an informative and positive experience by using good customer service skills and knowledge of products

Continue education of features and benefits of existing and new product lines

Accurately complete order information and keep orderly customer records

Meet established goals as set by management

Improve self-knowledge, effectiveness and efficiency through weekly sales meetings

Assist with maintaining store cleanliness in designated area of responsibility

Help to ensure proper pricing is displayed

Maximize store promotions and marketing initiatives

Maintain a positive working relationship with all team members

Proficient with company computer system

Adhere to general store operational procedures and guidelines

Assist customers with finance paperwork

Answer customer questions and provide information on procedures and/or policies

Answer phone promptly and professionally

Follow and ensure all safety rules are complied with and appropriate safety equipment is used. Ensure work areas are maintained in a clean, uncluttered, hazard free condition. Immediately take action and/or report any unsafe or potential hazards
