    At Comfort Keepers, you will spend your days caring for someone, providing joy, building relationships, and delivering in-home care to seniors in need of some extra help and personal care to other adults.

    As a caregiver, you will enable a senior to age in place, remain independent, keeping the familiarity and comfort of their own home without compromising their medical and non-medical care.     Caregiver Job Duties & Responsibilities:

    · "ADLs" (personal care: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating)

    · Establish open communication and develop friendly relationships with seniors, and their families (our contact is often the eldest son or daughter)

    · Help seniors with daily tasks such as light housekeeping, laundry, and household organization

    · Assist with meal prep and provide medication reminders

    · Companionship

    · Accompany seniors to the grocery store, doctor appointments and pharmacy visits

    · Reposition, assist with ambulation and transfers

    · Encourage physical activity and movement as appropriate

    · Inspire a positive, can-do attitude when it comes to daily tasks, appointments and hobbies

    · Maintain a trusting and comforting environment

    Applicant MUST have a valid driver's license, have a reliable vehicle, be bondable and insurable, able to pass a background check, credit check. Applicant should have auto insurance coverage too.

    Previous experience in the home care industry as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide, Nursing Assistant IS required.

    This caregiver position will be in Tarrant County. Our office serves residential neighborhoods across Westover Hills, Ridglea, Westwood Village, Tanglewood, Colonial Hills, Arlington Heights, Lake Worth, Saginaw, Azle, and the River Crest area so this position will require travel to client homes. We match you based on preferences, logistics and your availability.
