    Job Description

    Looking for an energetic, experienced, electrified hardware specialist to join our growing team at Command Access.

    YOU'RE MADE FOR THIS ROLE if you have spent years in the field installing electrified hardware to work in conjunction with access control systems &/or auto-operators; many times, having to troubleshoot to get your opening running smoothly before heading out for the day.

    You feel like now is the time to take all those years of experience and knowledge and bring them to the table from the factory side of things helping guys in the field just like you. But you don't want to stop there! You want to help field techs before they run into their future problem by collaborating on new product recommendations, product updates, and testing prototypes.

    You'll be joining our growing team of people who share your passion for continually improving electrified door hardware. We are a manufacturer and modifier of electrified locking hardware, passionate about providing superior customer service, quality products, and knowledgeable in-house technical support.

     

    Major Areas of Responsibility (essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following):

    · Handle technical support calls and walk customers through the steps of troubleshooting up to get their opening up & working properly.

    · Must be capable of using finesse and good customer service techniques to ensure our customers feel supported and listened to regardless of their skill level.

    · Assist in creating point-to-point wiring diagrams for specialty projects.

    · Collaborate with engineering on new product reviews, improvements & setting up in-house testing applications.

    · Lead in-house technical trainings to elevate the expertise of our inside sales/customer service team.

    · Occasional site visits to assist customers with complex technical issues.

    · Collaborate with Graphic Designer to create/improve installation instructions & videos.

    · Team up with inside sales/customer service members on jobs/quotes needing additional technical knowledge.

    Qualifications/Skills Required:

    · 5+ years of field Experience in Commercial doors & hardware, Automatic doors, &/or Access Control

    · Hands-On Learner with good communication skills, including in-person and over the phone.

    · Able to work in a team environment as well as independently

    · Willingness to continue learning & work

    · Good time management with ability to work in a fast-paced environment

    · Passionate, self-motivated, and service-oriented

    · Must be able to lift 25lbs and pass random drug testing

     

    Bonus Points:

    · Bilingual or Multilingual skills a plus (Spanish preferred)
