FULL-TIME CERTIFIED PROFESSIONAL GUARDIAN NEEDED FOR TACOMA, WA OFFICE.

GUARDIAN & FIDUCIARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Managing family dynamics

• Advocating for clients during medical appointments

• Managing trust funds for people with special needs

• Purchase and sell vehicles and/or real estate for clients

• Visiting with clients at their homes or at medical appointments

• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Work is performed primarily in a standard office environment with public contact and frequent interruptions. This role will also work directly with our sister law firm, Balsam Law. Benefits include professional development assistance, bonus pay, medical insurance for the employee after 60 days, eight (8) days of PTO / pro-rata, and yearly vacation. Only full-time employees are eligible. The office schedule is Monday to Friday, beginning at 30 hours per week with a reassessment after two months to move into full time. Some after-hours and weekend work is required in emergencies. $20-$28 / hour

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Ethical

• Must be able to pass a background check

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required

• Financial background preferred, but not required

• Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance

• Professional Guardian certified or in the process of certification

• Knowledge of appropriate software including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat

• At least one (1) year of experience serving individuals with a developmental disability, mental illness, or the elderly
