About Jersey Mike’s Commerce Township’s Jersey Mike’s location is looking for MITs ready to grow into leadership roles. We focus on building strong teams, providing hands-on training, and giving motivated individuals the tools to succeed.

Position Overview As a Manager in Training in Commerce, you’ll learn all aspects of store operations, lead during busy shifts, and progress through structured phases to earn higher pay and more responsibility.

Growth Path & Pay

Starting MIT: $13–$14/hr + tips ($3–5/hr average)

Phase 1 – Shift Leader: +$1/hr raise

Phase 3 – Assistant Manager: +$1/hr raise

General Manager: Competitive salary + bonus opportunities

Key Responsibilities

Lead by example and model excellent customer service

Execute food prep, service, and operational standards

Train, coach, and motivate team members

Assist with scheduling, inventory, and store organization

Keep the store clean, safe, and welcoming

Step into leadership as needed

Qualifications

Previous restaurant, retail, or customer service experience preferred

Strong communication and leadership potential

Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends

Motivated to grow and learn new skills

Must be 18+ (17+ preferred for closing shifts)

6 months of food service, retail, or customer service experience preferred but not required.
