Role and Responsibilities:
- Researches, reviews, and interprets existing and pending laws and regulations, which potentially affect the assigned regulatory area.
- Backs up collection of CRA activities and donations.
- Verifies and collects information relative to Small Business/Small Farm reporting and year end balancing.
- Performs initial HMDA scrubs and year end balancing
- Assists in gathering details and logging spreadsheets for Fair lending reviews.
- Backs up flood monitoring.
- Performs review of deposit regulations, credit report discrepancies, alerts & credit score notices, HELOCs, APR checks.
- Provides the highest level of support to frontline, enabling the frontline employees to sell more bank products and services.
- Has prompt and regular attendance.
- Has a helpful attitude with co-workers and frontline.
- Strives to improve efficiency in his/her work area through cost savings.
- Performs other duties assigned by supervisor.
- Completes required compliance training.
- Adheres to IT Program including IT Security Policy and completes required IT training.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Skills:
- Proficient with Excel, Word, PC, typing, and calculator
- Tact and public relations expertise
- Ability to adapt to flexible work schedule
