The selected candidate will work closely with an experienced lender, gaining hands-on exposure to commercial lending, credit analysis, business development, and client relationship management.
Responsibilities
- Support a senior commercial banker in developing and managing client relationships
- Assist with commercial loan requests, including gathering financial information and supporting credit analysis
- Help identify opportunities for commercial loans, deposit accounts, and other banking services
- Participate in client meetings, networking events, and community outreach activities
- Build and maintain relationships with business owners and community leaders
- Monitor assigned client relationships and assist with ongoing portfolio management
- Stay informed on market trends, industry developments, and local economic conditions
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional client service
- Represent the bank through involvement in professional, civic, and community organizations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field preferred
- Open to recent graduates and candidates with 2–4 years of professional experience
- Banking, finance, credit, lending, accounting, or client-facing sales experience is a plus
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and networking skills
- Ability to analyze information and learn financial and credit concepts
- Professional, energetic, and motivated with a desire to grow within the banking industry
- Demonstrated leadership, initiative, and a strong work ethic
