Essential Functions:
- Design and maintain sales dashboards and KPI tracking systems covering sales, volume, profit, pricing, costing, customer segments, management companies, and intercompany purchasing.
- Analyze customer performance, OpCo sales trends, commodity trends, and CRM data and insights to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Build and automate recurring reports using Python and BI tooling; reduce reliance on manual data compilation
- Conduct scenario analyses and assist with forecast tool development to support leadership planning
- Partner with commercial leaders to document current-state workflows, identify inefficiencies, and quantify the business impact of proposed changes
- Support cross-functional initiatives including intercompany purchasing, non-produce penetration, product cost leverage, e-commerce optimization, business development, customer development.
- Translate commercial problems into structured analytical frameworks and present findings to senior leadership with clear recommendations
- Assist in the development and tracking of commercial metrics within each OpCo and an enterprise roll up.
- Extract, clean, and model data from ERP, WMS, CRM, Tableau, Financial Reporting, and other systems into structured, decision-ready formats
- Identify and remediate data quality issues across commercial data sources; advocate for improved data governance practices
- Collaborate with IT to define business requirements for system enhancements, integrations, and reporting infrastructure
- Evaluate third-party data sources (e.g., USDA data, industry benchmarks, vendor pricing, etc.) and integrate into internal models as appropriate
- Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for commercial initiatives.
- Build business cases for salesforce investments, outsourcing decisions, and technology investments with supporting ROI analysis
- Assist with contract analysis, benchmarking, and performance tracking against external vendor and carrier commitments

** Education & Experience:**
- Business degree in Business, Operations Management, Data Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in business analysis, support, or technical analysis role
- Experience in Python for data analysis, automation, and reporting
- Experience with data warehouse environments preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling, pivot tables, and complex formula construction
- Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent
- Experience in warehousing, distribution, cold chain logistics, or food distribution preferred
- Familiarity with CRM systems
- Exposure to ERP platforms operational reporting within them, preferred
- Proficient PC skills in CRM and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, Microsoft Office (particularly Excel), and common E Mail systems
