Position Summary: The Assistant Project Manager primary responsibility is to support the project manager and help maintain project goals, schedule, and overall quality of the project. In addition to building long term relationships with current and potential customers through one-on-one visits, organized events, and phone prospecting.
Job Duties:
· Operate a company vehicle to perform regular job site visits as directed. · 90% of your day is spent traveling to meet new and existing customers by checking on Contract Cleaning jobs. · Attend weekly job site meetings with General Contractors as needed.
· Effectively build and develop relationships and positive brand awareness through all interactions. · Approximately one-third of the day is usually spent in the office, and the remainder of the day is spent traveling to meet new and existing customers. · Ensure all equipment is in operating order on job sites. · Maintain accurate and up-to-date information on all assigned projects. · Learn the scope of work and expectations for every project. · Effectively operate and navigate through CRM programs that will track all notes, documents and interactions. · Use problem solving methods to resolve conflict and negotiate method to ensure project moved forward as warranted. · Interact with employees and our subcontractors to ensure efficiency targets are being hit or exceeded. · Ensure quality of all projects. · Promote a “team” atmosphere while visiting our jobsites. · Make corrective actions while on-site to prevent performance inefficiently or safety concerns. · Maintain and enforce safety in the field as well as vehicles. · Attend internal and external trainings requested by management. · Assist the Project Manager and General Manager with team leader paperwork, meetings, and training. · Enforce all company rules, policies, and procedures. · Work in the field as needed (usually during high volume or emergency basis). Hours will be tailored to meet the needs of our customers. · Perform as a back up for opening and closing routine for Project Manager/General Manager during their absence. · Attend production meetings/team huddles.

Qualifications:

Janitorial/Cleaning industry experience preferred
