Commercial Cleaning Technician

Full Time Night Shift

$17.50 to $19.00 per hour - 40 to 50 hours weekly

Overview

We are seeking reliable and hard-working individuals to join our team as Night Shift Hood Cleaning Technicians. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in mechanical or labor-focused work who are comfortable working overnight hours and performing physically demanding tasks. No prior hood cleaning experience is required. Full training is provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform commercial kitchen hood cleaning services according to safety and quality standards
• Use pressure washing equipment, hand tools, and cleaning chemicals
• Safely access rooftops, ladders, and confined spaces as required
• Complete before and after photos, service documentation, and job checklists
• Maintain equipment and company tools in good working condition
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
• Work effectively as part of a team during night shift operations
• Communicate professionally with team members and supervisors
• Ensure all work areas are cleaned and restored before leaving each job site

Schedule

• Night shift position
• Typically 40 to 50 hours per week
• Overtime opportunities may be available
• Start and end times may vary based on job assignments

Compensation and Career Path

• Trainee: $17.50 per hour
• Roof Technician: $18 to $19 per hour after successful training and sign-off
• Lead Technician: $21 to $25 per hour
• Shift Supervisor: $25 plus per hour

Training period is a 60 day pass or fail evaluation. Advancement is based on performance, reliability, and skill development.

Requirements

• Reliable transportation to and from the shop or job sites
• Ability to work overnight hours consistently
• Comfortable with physical labor, climbing, lifting, and working on rooftops
• Mechanically inclined or prior experience in general labor, HVAC, warehouse, or trades
• Must speak English
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Honest, dependable, and coachable
• Ability to follow safety procedures and instructions
