We are currently accepting applications for an experienced Construction Estimator to join our team. Responsibilities: The Estimator’s responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: • Review plans, specifications, and all project documents to perform accurate take-offs. • Solicit proposals, gather plans, specifications, quotes, and other documents, and put together a detailed scope of work. • Attend pre-bid meetings and visit sites as necessary during the bidding process. • Understand the scope and requirements for a successful project. • Produce a work schedule and calculate cost factors to include in the estimate. • Build and maintain solid relationships with subcontractors and vendors using effective communication. • Negotiate and buy out subcontractors for pricing. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering (Preferred). • Construction Estimating: 3 Years (Preferred). • Well-developed understanding of construction processes. • Capable computer skills, knowledge, and efficiency. • Comprehension of drawings and specifications to evaluate all scopes of the work required. Compensation: $65,000 - $80,000 yearly
