Commercial Construction Project Manager
Location: Dallas, TX Job Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $95,000+ DOE, plus bonus opportunities and excellent benefits Please Note: Candidates whose primary background is residential or multifamily construction will not be considered.
About the Opportunity
A well-established and growing commercial general contractor is seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager to join its team. This organization has an impressive portfolio of ground-up and renovation projects throughout the DFW area and continues to experience steady growth.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager who enjoys leading projects from award through closeout while partnering closely with Superintendents, Project Coordinators, clients, architects, and subcontractors to deliver exceptional results.
Responsibilities
Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through project closeout.
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and financial forecasts.
Oversee contracts, subcontractor scopes, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
Partner closely with field Superintendents to ensure successful project execution.
Coordinate with Project Coordinators and internal support teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Monitor project costs, identify potential risks, and proactively resolve issues.
Maintain strong communication with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
Participate in scope reviews and project planning activities.
Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of commercial construction Project Management experience.
Demonstrated experience managing projects from cradle to grave.
Experience with ground-up and renovation commercial construction projects.
Strong understanding of project budgeting, cost control, contracts, and scheduling.
Proficiency with:
Procore
Bluebeam
Microsoft Excel
Microsoft Project
Microsoft Outlook
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred but not required.
PMP certification is a plus but not required.
