    Commercial Construction Project Manager - Commercial Renovations - Base Salary to 110k/year - Tampa, FL

    • Our client is a growing construction and renovation firm focused on commercial and residential projects across North Florida, with expansion plans into Central Florida. They are seeking a Commercial Construction Project Manager to lead renovation projects from preconstruction through closeout across multiple markets. This role operates on the general contractor side and requires independent management of multiple projects, subcontractors, and budgets.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage full lifecycle of commercial renovation projects including demolition, framing, MEP coordination, finishes, and closeout
    • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost tracking logs
    • Manage subcontractor bidding, scope leveling, contract awards, and performance
    • Track and manage change orders, RFIs, and submittals
    • Ensure compliance with Florida Building Code, permitting requirements, and AHCA regulations (when applicable)
    • Coordinate inspections and ensure projects meet all regulatory requirements
    • Maintain consistent communication with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
    • Provide daily or end-of-day project reporting and progress updates
    • Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining project quality and schedule
    • Enforce job site safety standards and compliance across all trades
    • Travel throughout Tampa and Central Florida based on project needs

    Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of commercial construction or renovation Project Management experience, required
    • Experience managing multi-trade commercial renovation projects from preconstruction through closeout
    • Demonstrated experience with budget tracking, job costing, and change order management
    • Experience managing subcontractors and trade coordination across multiple projects
    • Knowledge of Florida Building Code and permitting processes
    • Ability to manage multiple projects independently with minimal supervision
    • Experience working in occupied and/or regulated environments (e.g., healthcare, financial, retail, or similar)
    • Proficiency with construction project documentation (RFIs, submittals, schedules, cost logs)
    • Ability to travel regionally across North and Central Florida

    Compensation:

    • Base salary in the 85k - 110k/year range
    • 11 Paid Holidays
    • 2 Weeks PTO
    • Travel Reimbursement
