We build fast-moving commercial projects and need a Project Manager who can keep pace, stay ahead of problems, and drive projects from preconstruction through closeout.

At BF Construction, our work includes commercial tenant improvements, office buildouts, exterior renovations, concrete site work, and light commercial upgrades typically ranging from $300K–$2M.

We are looking for someone with real field experience, strong trade knowledge, and the ability to lead projects proactively — not reactively. Someone who can keep multiple projects organized, coordinate trades effectively, and make sure work is ready before crews arrive onsite.

This is a field-driven role. We are not looking for someone who only manages paperwork from behind a desk. The right candidate understands how construction actually gets built and knows how to keep projects moving in real-world conditions.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Manage multiple active commercial construction projects from preconstruction through final closeout

Maintain regular jobsite presence and oversee daily field operations

Build, update, and actively manage project schedules

Create and confirm one- and two-week lookaheads before work begins

Coordinate subcontractors, trade sequencing, deliveries, and site readiness

Manage BF internal field crews including task assignments, scheduling, and daily direction

Ensure all work meets project plans, specifications, and quality standards

Communicate consistently with field teams, subcontractors, clients, and internal staff

Identify problems early and implement solutions before delays occur

Track field progress and maintain organized project documentation including daily photos and reporting

Coordinate construction activities to maintain workflow and production across multiple projects

Ensure schedules accurately reflect actual site conditions and project progress

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

5+ years of commercial construction experience

Strong hands-on field or trade background

Ability to read and understand complete construction drawing sets

Strong understanding of sequencing, constructability, and trade coordination

Experience managing projects from start to finish

Comfortable using digital scheduling and project management platforms

Strong organizational and communication skills

Ability to manage multiple active jobs simultaneously

High level of accountability, follow-through, and attention to detail

Ability to work effectively in both field and office environments

SOFTWARE EXPERIENCE

Experience with the following is preferred:

Smartsheet

Bluebeam

Microsoft Office

Dropbox

Construction scheduling and project management platforms

BONUS EXPERIENCE

Previous Superintendent or Field Engineer experience

Experience in design-build environments

Strong field coordination and problem-solving ability
