Commercial Credit Manager
A growing Michigan-based community bank is seeking a Commercial Credit Manager to join its Commercial Credit team in Southeast Michigan. This organization was built around strong commercial lending fundamentals, relationship-driven banking, and long-term talent development.

Core Responsibilities
- Lead, develop, and manage a team of Portfolio Managers, Credit Analysts, and interns
- Oversee commercial underwriting and credit analysis processes
- Ensure adherence to credit policy, risk management standards, and regulatory expectations
- Support recruiting, onboarding, and training efforts for analysts and interns
- Partner with leadership to identify and develop future talent across the organization
- Review complex commercial credit relationships and underwriting presentations
- Help maintain strong loan quality and compliance standards
- Collaborate across lending, treasury, and credit functions to support long-term growth

What We’re Looking For
- 7–10+ years of progressive commercial banking experience with formal credit training
- Prior experience in Senior Credit Analyst, Portfolio Management, or Credit leadership roles
- Strong commercial underwriting and financial analysis background, particularly within C&I lending
- Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach, and develop junior credit professionals
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, relationship-oriented banking environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
