job title: Commercial Drywall Estimator location: Greater Chicago Area

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Commercial Drywall Estimator located in Posen. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates, analyzing project requirements, managing budgets, and collaborating with internal teams to develop accurate bids. Additional responsibilities include evaluating project blueprints, pricing materials and labor, and assisting in project management tasks to ensure successful execution within budget and timeline constraints.

Qualifications

Proficient in Construction Estimating, including reviewing blueprints and preparing detailed cost estimates

Strong Communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal teams

Experience in Budgeting and financial planning to manage cost efficiency

Knowledge of other construction components as they relate to drywall and ceiling projects

Project Management skills to oversee cost-effective project execution and timelines

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities

Prior experience in commercial construction, particularly in drywall and ceilings, is highly preferred

Must be proficient with OST/QuickBid (specifically for drywall and ceilings)
