Commercial Drywall Finisher

We are seeking a self motivated individual with 4+ years of commercial drywall finishing experience.

We offer a competitive salary of $50K to +$70K based upon level of experience, travel expenses paid, and a performance based pay structure that awards high performance people and does not limit their potential.

Ideal candidate should be able to perform the following tasks with little to no supervision:

Read construction drawings and documents to complete jobs.

Inventory and organize materials on site per schedule and noted locations.

Understanding of different types of drywall, joint compounds, tapes, and finishing materials.

Skills in preparing surfaces for finishing, including cleaning, patching, and sanding.

Proficiency in applying joint compound, embedding tape, and smoothing out seams and corners.

Expertise in using tools such as taping knives, trowels, sanding blocks, hawks, and automatic taping tools.

Knowledge of various texturing techniques (e.g., orange peel, knockdown, smooth finish) and how to apply them.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.

The employee is frequently required to stand for 8 hours or more; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, or balance.

The employee must regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds, occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, and infrequently lift or move more than 100 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
