About the Role:

Join One General Agency Inc as a Commercial E&S Underwriter in Oklahoma City, OK, where you'll play a crucial role in evaluating and underwriting complex commercial risks. Be part of a dynamic team that values innovation and excellence in the surplus lines insurance market.

Responsibilities:

Evaluate and underwrite commercial excess and surplus lines insurance applications.

Analyze risk factors and determine appropriate coverage and pricing structures.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers and agents.

Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes affecting underwriting practices.

Prepare and present underwriting recommendations to management.

Ensure compliance with company underwriting guidelines and standards.

Participate in training and development initiatives to enhance underwriting skills.

Requirements:

3+ years of experience in commercial underwriting, preferably in E&S.

Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.

Proficient in underwriting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Knowledge of state insurance regulations and compliance requirements.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Insurance designation (CPCU, AU, etc.) is a plus.
