Orange Electric is a growing electrical contractor seeking experienced Commercial Journeyman Electricians for commercial, industrial, and service work throughout Utah.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial and industrial electrical systems.

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings.

Apply NEC requirements and local electrical codes.

Perform conduit bending, wire pulling, terminations, and equipment installation.

Diagnose electrical issues and develop effective solutions.

Communicate with customers, contractors, project managers, and team members.

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site.

Complete accurate job documentation.

Assist with project planning and material management.

Mentor apprentices and support a positive team environment.

Required Qualifications

Current Utah Commercial Journeyman Electrician License

Commercial and/or industrial electrical experience

Strong understanding of NEC and electrical systems

Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

Service electrical experience

Leadership or crew lead experience

Knowledge of industrial controls, motors, and automation systems

Strong customer service skills

Physical Requirements

Climb ladders and work at heights

Bend, kneel, crouch, and work in confined spaces

Lift and carry up to 100 pounds

Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment

Work indoors, outdoors, and in varying weather conditions
