    Position: Commercial Escrow Assistant

    Full-time: 40 Hours

    Location: Indianapolis, IN

    Assignment: ASAP Start – 12/31/2025

    Schedule: Monday – Friday; 8 AM - 5PM

    Pay Range: $25.02 hourly, paid weekly.
    (Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Base pay information is based on market location.)

     

    Temp to perm for the right fit, based on good performance and attendance.

     

    Position Summary:

    • Provide support to the Commercial Escrow department by delivering high-quality customer service and performing administrative duties related to escrow closings.
    • This role mirrors many responsibilities of a Residential Escrow Assistant but is tailored to the complexity and scale of large commercial transactions.
    • Open new escrow orders and input closing statements on worksheets prepared by the Escrow Officer.
    • Prepare closing documents and manage the full disbursement and post-closing follow-up of escrow transactions.
    • Communicate requirements, title exceptions, and other critical information to clients and stakeholders.
    • Interpret earnest money agreements and ensure all necessary documentation is prepared for each transaction. 
    • Support the Commercial Escrow team in coordinating and executing all aspects of te closing process.

    Required Skills & Qualifications:

    • Strong organizational and communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
    • Ability to interpret legal and financial documents related to real estate transactions. 
    • Proficiency in managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
    • Experience in Escrow or Title services preferred, especially in Commercial Real Estate.
    • 1-2 years of experience as an Escrow Assistant, or minimum of 3 years in a related real estate or title field.
    • Strong customer service skills with a professional and client-focused demeanor.
    • Excellent verbal communication and problem-solving abilities.
    • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Strong typing, computer skills and knowledge of office environment and equipment.

    Work Environment:

    • Must be adaptable and thrive in a fast-paced setting.
    • Collaborative team environment with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and client satisfaction.

    Working Conditions:

    • May on occasion be exposed to loud sounds and distracting noise levels, such as from office equipment.
    • The ability to lift up to 30lbs.
    • Use of computers and technology.
