Join a leading Bay Area independent rep group representing premier American and European commercial furniture brands. We are a well-established, design-driven manufacturer representative firm seeking a motivated, entrepreneurial Sales Representative to support and grow our business in the South Bay market. Our portfolio includes some of the most innovative and award-winning brands in the commercial furniture industry, and we proudly serve a diverse client base that includes the architecture & design (A&D) community, dealers, and end-users. This is an excellent opportunity for a collaborative, socially intuitive, energetic sales professional who is passionate about building long-term relationships in the commercial interiors industry.
What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain relationships with designers, dealers, and clients through regular outreach, meetings, and presentations
- Deliver compelling product presentations and updates to the A&D community and dealer network
- Provide accurate specifications, quotes, and project proposals
- Conduct market research and gather intelligence to support sales strategy and growth
- Maintain organized and current contact databases and project lists
- Coordinate delivery of sample products and maintain sample inventory
- Organize and facilitate showroom/vendor visits and product trainings
- Attend regional and national industry events as needed
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to the long-term success of the territory
What We’re Looking For
- Proven success in sales, preferably within the contract furniture or commercial interiors industry
- Familiarity with the A&D community and an understanding of the project-based sales cycle
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Highly organized, self-directed, and capable of managing multiple priorities
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Customer-centric with a commitment to exceptional service
- A proactive problem-solver passionate about identifying opportunities and driving growth
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to adapt to changing market conditions and client needs
- Willingness to travel locally and beyond as needed
- South Bay residency is strongly preferred for successful territory coverage
