Commercial HVAC Service Manager
Position Overview
We're seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Manager to lead and oversee our service department operations. This role requires a strong combination of technical expertise, leadership, and customer service skills. You will be responsible for managing technicians, driving service excellence, ensuring operational efficiency, and building lasting customer relationships.

Job Responsibilities
Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the commercial HVAC service department.
Supervise, mentor, and support service technicians to ensure high-quality workmanship and professional growth.
Schedule and coordinate service calls, preventive maintenance agreements, and emergency response activities.
Monitor department performance, productivity, and profitability while identifying opportunities for improvement.
Ensure technicians have the tools, training, materials, and support needed to perform their work efficiently.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring exceptional service and customer satisfaction.
Assist with troubleshooting complex HVAC system issues and provide technical guidance when needed.
Collaborate with sales, project management, and operations teams to support company objectives.
Manage service budgets, labor utilization, inventory, and departmental expenses.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, company policies, and applicable codes.
Support business growth by identifying service opportunities, maintenance agreements, and value-added solutions.
Requirements
10+ years of experience in commercial HVAC service, service management, or related leadership roles.
Strong technical knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, including boilers, chillers, RTUs, VRF systems, controls, and building automation systems.
Proven experience managing technicians, service operations, and customer relationships.
Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Strong understanding of service scheduling, dispatching, and operational performance metrics.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
EPA Certification required.
