Position Overview
We're seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, repair, maintain, and optimize commercial HVAC equipment in office buildings, retail facilities, industrial properties, and other commercial environments.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and troubleshoot commercial HVAC equipment and mechanical systems.
Repair and maintain boilers, chillers, rooftop units (RTUs), packaged units, split systems, and refrigeration equipment.
Perform preventative maintenance and identify potential system failures.
Ensure all work meets manufacturer specifications, safety standards, and local codes.
Communicate findings and recommendations clearly with customers and team members.
Complete service documentation and maintain accurate records.
Respond to emergency service calls as needed.
Qualifications
Two or more years of commercial HVAC service experience preferred
Experience servicing boilers, chillers, RTUs, packaged units, refrigeration equipment, and related mechanical systems
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
EPA certification required
OSHA 10 certification preferred (required within 90 days of hire)
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Compensation
Starting pay: $35-55 per hour
Compensation is based on experience, certifications, technical expertise, and overall qualifications.
Additional Compensation
Overtime paid at 1.5 times the regular hourly rate
Double-time holiday pay
Additional earning potential for highly experienced technicians
