    Currently seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Refrigeration Service Technician for a local Commercial HVAC company. This is a great “direct-hire” opportunity for an experienced service tech who enjoys working on their own and is interested in a long-term career position with a well established company.

    Benefits for the HVAC Refrigeration Service Mechanic / Commercial HVAC Service Technician position includes:

    • Starting Wage: $32.00 - $40.00 an hour DOE to start

    • Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm

    • This is a “direct-hire” opportunity and not a “temp” or “contract” position.

    Primary Responsibilities of the HVAC Refrigeration Mechanic / Commercial HVAC Service Technician include:

    • Perform installs, preventive maintenance, service, and troubleshooting for commercial refrigeration rack systems.

    • Service commercial RTU's, reach-in coolers/freezer, walk-in coolers/freezers, and make-up air units

    • Maintain a clean and safe job site and work vehicle.

    • Assist other technicians with trouble shooting problems.

    • Complete parts/material inventories.

    Minimum Qualifications for the HVAC Refrigeration Service Mechanic / Commercial HVAC Service Technician include:

    • A minimum of 5 – 6 years of experience as a Commercial HVAC Service Technician Mechanic. Prefer experience with inspecting, troubleshooting and making repairs to code on commercial refrigeration equipment.

    • Must be detail oriented in submitting paperwork and following work orders.

    • Previous HVAC control systems experience is required.

    • Must possess a current Texas Driver's license and have a good driving record.

    • OSHA-10 certification preferred.

    • Current Universal Refrigerant Recovery Certificate.

    • E.P.A. certified for refrigerant handling class I & II, or universal.

    • Excellent verbal & written communication skills along with superb customer service skills.

    • Ability to perform calculations necessary for HVAC work.
