    We are looking for a Senior-Level HVAC Technician. You will have a work truck and be dispatched from the house.

    The job duties of a Field Service Technician are broad and varying. From installation, service and maintenance, Technicians have multiple responsibilities in providing clients with the very best possible HVAC service in the industry. The customer base ranges from small single story commercial facilities to large industrial settings with equipment ranging from small split systems to large water-cooled chillers.

    We want to find experienced technicians, enthusiastic about the industry, who are looking to further their career with a proven leader in the HVAC market.

    Based out of Buford, GA, and reporting to the Service Manager, the Commercial HVAC Sr. Service Technician installs and maintains heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and boiler and chiller systems. This position performs tests and analysis of data to ensure the proper functioning of equipment and provide recommendations to customers. The Technician will monitor, evaluate, and troubleshoot operating equipment and controls to ensure continued safe operation and life cycle performance.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    HVAC service and installation in commercial and industrial settings

    Performing routine maintenance tasks and warranty work to ensure the efficient and safe operation of HVAC systems

    Advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting of system malfunctions, then performing the appropriate HVAC system repairs

    Recharging refrigerant levels, checking for leaks, and ensuring the refrigerant cycle is functioning correctly in air conditioning and refrigeration systems

    Performing energy efficiency upgrades, like installing smart thermostats or sealing ducts

    Explaining maintenance procedures to customers and providing recommendations for system upgrades or replacements

    Maintaining accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and service calls

    Required Education/Experience:

    High school diploma or equivalent and 5 years of documentable HVAC level operation, maintenance and repair experience in the HVAC and refrigeration trade

    EPA 608 Certification

    Customer satisfaction is paramount, technicians must be able to provide clients with friendly, highly skilled assessments, and articulate deficiencies with detail and tact

    Must be comfortable operating in a paperless environment, inputting and pulling data from varying software platforms, manipulating documents, and detailing services performed and materials used

    Must be comfortable with computers and Windows operating system

    Additional Requirements:

    Valid driver's license and a good driving record

    Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug test

    Competencies:

    Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

    Advanced knowledge of HVAC repairs, maintenance, and installation techniques, electrical circuits, wiring and operating principles of motors, and local electrical codes

    Ability to communicate with internal team and customers, follow written and verbal instructions, interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and written reference material, perform math, and diagnose and resolve problems

    Physically able to operate a variety of machinery and equipment including electronic and diagnostic tools, recovery equipment, hand and power tools, and various other HVAC equipment

    This position requires stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing, crawling, reaching, walking, lifting, grasping, feeling, repetitive motions, and moving or carrying objects or materials

    Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently
