The career opportunity for you:

Recore Electric is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness and organization within our commercial facility. The ideal candidate will take pride in creating a clean, welcoming environment for employees, tenants, and visitors, while adhering to health and safety standards.

Duties:

• Clean, sanitize, and restock restrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
• Dust, vacuum, mop, and sweep office spaces, hallways, lobbies, and other designated areas.
• Empty trash and recycling bins, replacing liners as needed.
• Perform deep-cleaning tasks such as carpet shampooing, window washing, and floor waxing on a scheduled basis.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishments as needed.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, carpet extractors, and power washers safely and effectively.
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the facilities management team.
• Respond promptly to urgent cleaning requests during business hours.

Ensure security of facility spaces while cleaning (e.g., locking doors, turning off lights).

Requirements/Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Proven experience as a housekeeper, janitor, or in a similar role (commercial setting preferred).
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, lift up to 30 lbs, and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness.

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends if required.
