Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated Installer to join our team, responsible for the safe, accurate, and professional installation of granite, quartz, and solid surface countertops, sinks, and related products. This role requires technical skill, attention to detail, customer service excellence, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in the field.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive to customer locations and load, transport, and install countertops and related products.
- Accurately measure, cut, polish, grind, and shape materials to ensure proper fit and finish.
- Apply silicone, caulk, and seam adhesives to company standards.
- Perform on-site fabrication tasks such as scribing, notching, and polishing.
- Coordinate with site supervisors, lift operators, and installation teams to ensure safe and efficient workflow.
- Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner, providing updates and resolving concerns.
- Maintain organized trucks, tools, and job sites; assist in weekly inventory checks.
- Document project progress using web-based tracking systems, including photography and notes.
- Engage in safe work practices and ensure the consistent use of PPE.
- Assist with training and mentoring less experienced team members.
- Maintain an efficient schedule and communicate issues promptly to supervisors or project managers.
Qualifications & Skills
- High School diploma/GED required; trade-related education or equivalent experience preferred.
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and willing to work flexible hours/overtime as needed.
- Basic carpentry/building skills and ability to accurately measure to 1/16”.
- Strong attention to detail with ability to problem-solve fitment and minor fabrication issues on site.
- Ability to safely operate power tools and hand tools.
- Physical ability to lift 100+ lbs., kneel, crouch, reach, and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with exceptional customer service abilities.
- Team-oriented with the ability to build positive working relationships.
- Valid driver’s license with a reasonable driving history.
Working Conditions
Work is performed at residential and commercial job sites, often requiring heavy lifting and use of power tools. Exposure to airborne particles, noise, and varying weather conditions may occur; PPE is provided and required.
