Wired2Day LLC is a fast-growing Telecom, Data, and Security company serving Indiana and Ohio. We are looking for experienced Low Voltage Technicians AND entry-level candidates who are eager to learn and grow with our team! You must be comfortable with: • Running wire (Cat5e, Cat6, fiber, etc.) • Working on ladders and lifts • Performing commercial installations (schools, businesses, industrial environments) • Traveling up to 3 hours from our base location for projects as needed Vehicle Requirement: Must have a Truck, Van, or SUV that can safely hold: • Basic tools & supplies • Ladders up to 10 ft in length Technicians are expected to provide: Your own basic hand tools: • Impact driver • Drill • Screwdrivers • Scissors/snips • Cable strippers/testers • Other required hand tools • A working laptop • A working smartphone (Android or iPhone) • Mobile hotspot capability for uploading project documentation Experience Levels: • Experienced techs will be expected to perform field installations independently • Entry-level applicants will start in paid training, riding with a Lead Technician to learn on the job We offer both Part-Time W2 and Full-Time If you are dependable, hard-working, and ready to build your career with a fast-growing company, apply today! Responsibilities: • Run and terminate Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A, and fiber optic cabling • Install and service IP camera systems • Install and configure access control systems • Install and configure WiFi networks • Work at heights using ladders, scissor lifts, and boom lifts • Maintain safe and clean work areas • Communicate professionally with clients and team members • Accurately document all work performed in our Field Service Management (FSM) platform • Travel locally to project sites (mostly Indiana and Ohio ) Qualifications: • 1+ year of experience in low-voltage cabling or a related field • Strong ability to run cable in various environments (above ceiling, conduit, walls, etc.) • Comfortable working on ladders and man lifts • Familiarity with structured cabling standards • Experience with basic power tools and cable testing equipment • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation • Ability to lift 50+ lbs • Strong attention to detail and work quality • Ability to pass background check Compensation: $22 - $29 hourly
