    About the Role

    The Commercial Lines Producer is responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of commercial property and casualty clients. This role focuses on helping mid-sized to large businesses identify, assess, and manage risk through comprehensive insurance programs.

    Advisors are supported by a structured sales process, experienced mentors, and leadership committed to professional growth. This position is ideal for driven sales professionals who thrive in a consultative environment and want to build a lasting book of business within a high-growth brokerage.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop new business through prospecting, networking, and relationship-building.
    • Conduct risk assessments and design customized insurance programs for commercial clients.
    • Build and maintain relationships with business owners and C-level executives.
    • Leverage a proven consultative sales model to manage the sales cycle from lead generation through close.
    • Collaborate with internal service teams to deliver exceptional client experiences.
    • Maintain and grow a personal book of business while contributing to the agency’s overall success.

    Qualifications

    • Proven B2B “hunter” sales experience using a consultative approach.
    • Experience selling to business owners or executive-level decision makers preferred.
    • Strong relationship management and communication skills.
    • Entrepreneurial mindset and drive to build a client portfolio.
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
    • Active Virginia Property & Casualty insurance license.
    • Ability to work from or commute to the Virginia Beach area, especially during initial ramp-up.

    Compensation & Benefits

    • Base salary: $65,000–$75,000, plus commission and performance incentives.
