    Commercial Kitchen Appliance / Refrigeration Technician Location: Vermont (Chittenden, Lamoille, Washington, Franklin, Orange, Addison Counties)

    KC Mechanical is growing and looking to add an experienced Commercial Kitchen Appliance / Refrigeration Technician to our team. We service a wide range of hot-side and cold-side equipment for schools, universities, hospitals, nursing homes, restaurants, and country clubs across Vermont.

    What You’ll Do

    Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial kitchen equipment (walk-ins, reach-ins, dishwashers, ovens, ranges, steamers, mixers, grinders, slicers, etc.)

    Perform preventive maintenance and warranty work for major manufacturers

    Troubleshoot refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical issues

    Communicate clearly with customers, document work thoroughly, and represent KC Mechanical professionally

    Work with dispatch and teammates to ensure timely, efficient service

    What We’re Looking For

    2+ years of hands-on experience in commercial kitchen appliances and/or refrigeration (more experienced technicians strongly encouraged to apply)

    EPA Certification (preferred) and solid refrigeration troubleshooting skills

    Background with mixers, grinders, slicers, and similar equipment is highly valued

    Electrical and/or plumbing knowledge is a plus

    Ability to work independently and as part of a team

    Customer-focused mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and attention to detail

    Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
