Essential Functions include but are not limited to the following:
Daily account management of an assigned book of business including, but not limited to, policy changes, audits, invoicing, premium breakdowns, certificates of insurance, ID Cards, and responding to policy inquiries.
Renewal processing which includes obtaining updated loss information, completing renewal applications, performing renewal marketing, account rounding, reviewing and facilitating the renewal pricing, checking policies for accuracy and preparing for mail/delivery of renewal policies.
Meet with Producer(s) regularly to review upcoming renewals and create renewal strategy.
Update all files in AMS as tasks are completed.
Review Suspense items daily.
Communicate and maintain good relationships with commercial underwriters, marketing representatives and staff.
Be familiar with carrier appetites and websites
Obtain documents from select companies’ websites. (e.g. renewals and endorsements).
Process payments for commercial clients when needed.
Assist in mentoring and training new account managers.
What is required?
Three-year minimum Commercial Account Management experience required
Property and Casualty Producer License required
Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
A positive attitude, a desire for coaching, and a strong work ethic are essential
Ability to work collaboratively with a team of producers and account managers.
AMS360 experience strongly encouraged, but not required
