Pickney Carter, a Member of Correll Insurance Group, has an immediate need for a Commercial Lines Client Service Rep at our North Charleston location in South Carolina.
A Commercial Lines Client Service Representative (CSR) provides support to businesses with their insurance needs. This role involves handling policy changes, renewals, endorsements, and addressing client inquiries related to coverage, billing, and claims. CSRs act as the first point of contact for clients and work to resolve issues, process documentation, and maintain accurate records within the agency management system.
Responsibilities
Client Support:
Responding to client inquiries, processing policy changes (endorsements, cancellations), and issuing certificates of insurance, binders, and auto ID cards.
Account Management:
Assisting with renewals, gathering underwriting information, and preparing necessary documentation.
Communication:
Interacting with insurance carriers to follow up on outstanding issues and ensuring timely communication with clients.
Documentation:
Maintaining accurate records in the agency management system, processing audits, and handling loss-run documentation.
Collaboration:
Working with Account Managers, Producers, and other team members to provide comprehensive support to clients.
Qualifications
At least 1 - 3 years of relevant work experience
Excellent phone etiquette and excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
Requirements:
· High school diploma required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
· Have at least 1 year of Experience in Commercial Lines.
· Hold current and valid Property and Casualty Insurance license or able to obtain one within 6 months of accepting the position
· Possess a supportive and responsive manner with internal and external customers
· Possess above average computer skills, existing proficiency is strongly preferred in various needed programs, such as AMS360, ImageRight, Excel, and Word
· Ability to set up and conduct meetings in a virtual environment such as Teams and Zoom including the ability to share screens and make presentations (ex. PowerPoint, Proposals, etc.)
