    Senior Litigation Paralegal – Commercial Litigation
    ** Phoenix, Arizona**

    Sonja Cotton & Associates is seeking a highly skilled Litigation Paralegal to support a very busy and sophisticated litigation practice with a respected law firm located in Phoenix, Arizona.

    • The ideal candidate will be a seasoned litigation paralegal with a minimum of five (5) years of experience , with substantial exposure to complex commercial, insurance recovery and bad faith, and business litigation matters. The firm values technological proficiency, exceptional judgment, strong writing skills, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.

    ** Key Responsibilities**

    • Assist attorneys with all phases of complex commercial and business litigation, including case development, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
    • Manage large document cases, including organizing, reviewing, and analyzing documents and data.
    • Handle E-Discovery , including use of document management platforms and related tools.
    • Draft, proofread, and cite-check pleadings, discovery requests and responses, correspondence, and other legal documents.
    • Coordinate and maintain case calendars, deadlines, and docketing in accordance with Arizona court rules and procedures.
    • Communicate professionally with clients, experts, court personnel, and vendors.
    • Anticipate next steps in the litigation process and proactively support attorneys to move cases forward.

    ** Qualifications**

    • Minimum 5 years of paralegal litigation experience , with strong commercial/business litigation background.
    • Demonstrated experience handling large document cases, discovery, and case administration.
    • Strong knowledge of Arizona court rules, procedures, and calendaring.
    • Advanced proficiency in MS Word , Excel, and other legal and document management software.
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
    • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Professional demeanor, strong work ethic, and a collaborative, team-focused attitude.

    ** Compensation & Benefits**

    The firm offers a competitive salary up to $85,000.00+, commensurate with experience , together with an excellent benefits package and a performance-based bonus program.
