    Location: The Woodlands, TX

    Salary: $70,000+ (negotiable based on experience)

    Are you a strategic insurance marketer ready to take the lead on commercial placements and carrier relationships? A growing, family-owned independent agency is seeking a Commercial Marketing Manager with 2 to 3 years of commercial insurance experience to lead the placement and marketing of new and renewal business. This is a high-impact role that requires market insight, negotiation expertise, and a strong understanding of carrier appetites across diverse industries.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage the end-to-end marketing and placement of new and renewal commercial lines business
    • Collaborate with producers and account managers to design competitive insurance programs tailored to client needs
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers, wholesalers, and MGA partners
    • Strategically assess risk submissions and identify optimal carrier partners based on appetite and pricing
    • Negotiate coverage terms, pricing, and enhancements to deliver the most value to clients
    • Stay informed on market trends, carrier changes, and underwriting guidelines
    • Maintain thorough documentation and ensure compliance with all placement procedures

    Qualifications:

    • 2 to 3 years of experience in commercial lines marketing, account management, underwriting, or placement within the insurance industry
    • Strong knowledge of commercial property and casualty insurance across a variety of industry segments
    • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with carriers and underwriters
    • Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
    • Strategic thinker with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
    • Experience with agency management systems; Applied Epic is a plus
    • Active Property and Casualty (P&C) license required
