Job Impulse has a Industrial Painter opportunity for a manufacturer in Warren, MI! This will be a long term contract role

Responsibilities:

- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, scraping, sanding, and applying appropriate primers or sealers.

- Mix and apply paints and coatings to specifications using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.

- Operate and maintain painting equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.

- Apply coatings using techniques that minimize waste and ensure even coverage.

- Follow safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of paints, coatings, and supplies.

- Inspect painted surfaces for quality and ensure they meet required standards.

- Touch up paint defects as necessary.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as an industrial painter or similar role.

- Knowledge of various painting techniques, equipment, and materials.

- Strong attention to detail and quality.

- Knowledge of safety practices and procedures related to painting.

Salary info:

$20 - $30 / hr
