Plumbing Estimator – Commercial Mechanical Contractor

About the Job:
We are hiring a Commercial Plumbing Estimator to join our growing team in the Kansas City Metro. This position plays a key role in our preconstruction department, focusing on plumbing take-offs, spec and drawing reviews, and preparing bid recaps. If you have estimating experience and want to grow with a respected mechanical contractor, we want to talk with you. Fast Estimating software experience is a big plus but not required — we’ll train the right person.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform plumbing take-offs for commercial construction projects

• Review plans, drawings, and specifications for scope accuracy

• Enter quantities and pricing into plumbing bid recaps

• Work with estimators, project managers, and vendors to ensure complete bids

• Compare and analyze subcontractor/vendor pricing

• Stay organized with estimating files and project documentation

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous plumbing or mechanical estimating experience preferred

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specs

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Fast Estimating experience is a plus)

• Team-oriented, eager to learn, and open to career growth
