Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Commercial Project Manager to join our team. The ideal
candidate will be responsible for managing electrical construction projects from planning through
completion, ensuring work is executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project estimates,
plans, and code requirements. This role involves coordinating field operations, managing project
documentation, communicating with clients and contractors, supporting field teams, and driving
projects to successful on-time and on-budget completion within a fast-paced Design/Build

Highly Desired: Strong experience in Design/Build electrical construction with the ability to manage
both field execution and project coordination from start to finish. The ideal candidate is highly
organized, client-focused, and capable of leading multiple projects while maintaining strong
communication with field teams, office staff, and clients. Proven ability to solve field issues, manage
change orders profitably, and build strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers is highly
valued.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage electrical projects using estimates, drawings, specifications, and project
management best practices
• Oversee all project documentation including RFIs, submittals, transmittals, change orders,
and related records
• Coordinate procurement, scheduling, and delivery of materials and tools with Lead Electrician
and field teams
• Review daily field reports and ensure proper communication and follow-through on job site
activities
• Communicate directly with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders to ensure project
success
• Schedule jobs and assign electricians in coordination with ownership and office staff
• Support and guide electricians in the field to maintain productivity, quality, and efficiency
• Prepare, estimate, and submit change order proposals and manage client approvals
• Conduct job site visits and coordinate findings with estimators and project teams
• Participate in regular meetings with office staff, estimators, and Lead Electricians
• Monitor ongoing project performance for quality control, safety, and adherence to scope,
schedule, and budget
• Manage punch list items and ensure proper project closeout and completion standards
• Identify conflicts in construction sequencing and communicate resolutions to all parties
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, general contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers
Qualifications
Required
• Minimum 15 years of experience in the electrical field
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
• Prior hands-on field experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installation practices, and National/Local Electrical
Codes

• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and construction documents
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to redesign or adjust installations for code
compliance and cost efficiency
• Proven ability to manage project schedules, budgets, documentation, and field execution
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Ability to resolve complex project issues involving schedule, billing, or change orders
• Professional demeanor with strong client-facing communication skills
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites regularly (company vehicle provided)
Preferred
• Experience in Design/Build electrical construction environments
• Prior experience managing multiple concurrent commercial or industrial electrical projects
• Strong subcontractor and vendor relationship management experience
• Familiarity with construction management software and project tracking tools
• Experience with estimating or change order pricing
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing and trade coordination
• Ability to proactively identify cost-saving and efficiency improvements in the field
• Experience leading large-scale commercial, industrial, or complex electrical installations
Compensation & Benefits
• Pay: $100,000 to $130,000 salaried, commensurate with experience
