    Commercial Real Estate Litigation Associate

    New York City | Hybrid

    A boutique New York City litigation firm is seeking a 4–6 year associate with experience in commercial real estate and business litigation to join its growing practice.

    This role offers meaningful responsibility, direct partner access, and the opportunity to handle sophisticated matters in a collaborative, trial-focused environment.

    Responsibilities

    • Handle commercial real estate and business litigation matters from pleadings through resolution

    • Draft and argue motions, including injunction applications and dispositive motions

    • Conduct depositions and manage written discovery

    • Appear in court and participate in hearings, arbitrations, and mediations

    • Negotiate and draft settlement agreements

    • Work closely with partners on strategy and client advisement

    Qualifications

    • 4–6 years of commercial litigation experience

    • Strong background in commercial real estate disputes preferred, including:

      • Lease disputes (rent, repairs, nuisance, property damage)

      • Contract disputes

      • Lending/UCC matters

      • Construction and lien issues

      • Condo/Co-op disputes

    • Excellent writing and analytical skills

    • Ability to manage cases independently

    • Sound judgment and strategic thinking

    What This Role Offers
