This position centers on generating new lending opportunities and developing long-term relationships with brokers, investors, and borrowers. In this role, you will evaluate potential deals, review financials, and structure financing solutions that align with company lending standards. You will collaborate with internal teams to move transactions forward while ensuring each deal is thoroughly assessed and well-positioned for approval. Responsibilities: • Originate floating-rate commercial real estate loans • Build and maintain strong relationships with loan brokers • Review and analyze financial information from loan applicants • Conduct site visits and evaluate properties and locations • Meet and communicate with loan applicants and assess their financial needs • Determine appropriate pricing and loan structures • Coordinate with all parties to facilitate loan closing • Maintain interpersonal connections with loan applicants Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree required • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal • Strong interpersonal client relations skills • Minimum (2) years of commercial lending experience required • Experience in handling construction loans is a plus • Demonstrated team player with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment • Ability to analyze financial statements and assess creditworthiness effectively • Solid accounting and credit analysis background required • Must be highly familiar with the real estate markets in Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, Austin, and San Antonio Compensation: $100,000 at plan earnings
