This role is responsible for originating commercial real estate loans and developing strong relationships with brokers, investors, and prospective borrowers. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding our commercial lending footprint across Texas. The ideal applicant has strong knowledge of the Dallas/Fort Worth, Houston, Austin, and San Antonio commercial real estate markets, along with a solid foundation in accounting, credit analysis, and underwriting. Responsibilities: • Originate floating-rate commercial real estate loans • Build and maintain strong relationships with loan brokers • Review and analyze financial information from loan applicants • Conduct site visits and evaluate properties and locations • Meet and communicate with loan applicants and assess their financial needs • Determine appropriate pricing and loan structures • Coordinate with all parties to facilitate loan closing • Maintain interpersonal connections with loan applicants Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree required • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal • Strong interpersonal client relations skills • Minimum (2) years of commercial lending experience required • Experience in handling construction loans is a plus • Demonstrated team player with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment • Ability to analyze financial statements and assess creditworthiness effectively • Solid accounting and credit analysis background required • Must be highly familiar with the real estate markets in Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, Austin, and San Antonio Compensation: $100,000 at plan earnings
