    We are seeking a driven and knowledgeable Commercial Real Estate Mortgage Banker to originate, structure, and close commercial real estate loan transactions. This role involves building and managing relationships with borrowers, investors, lenders, and other real estate professionals. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the commercial real estate finance market, strong analytical and sales skills, and a proven ability to manage complex transactions from origination to closing.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Originate commercial real estate mortgage loans, including acquisition, refinance, construction, and bridge financing.

    Source new business through networking, referrals, and direct outreach to property owners, investors, and developers.

    Analyze borrower financial statements, property performance, rent rolls, and market data to assess credit risk and structure appropriate financing solutions.

    Prepare and present loan proposals and term sheets to clients.

    Coordinate and negotiate with lenders, including banks, life insurance companies, CMBS lenders, private equity firms, and debt funds.

    Work closely with legal, underwriting, appraisal, and closing teams to facilitate due diligence and ensure timely closings.

    Maintain a pipeline of deals and regularly report on progress to management.

    Stay informed about market trends, lending programs, interest rates, and regulatory changes impacting commercial real estate finance.

    Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and meetings to build brand presence and generate leads.

    Qualifications:

    Some understanding of commercial real estate asset classes (multifamily, office, retail, industrial, hospitality, etc.).

    financial analysis and underwriting skills.

    Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

    Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset and ability to work independently.

    Proficient in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and CRM software.

    Compensation:

    Competitive base salary plus commission or bonus structure (depending on experience and deal volume).

    Work Environment:

    This position may be based in-office, hybrid, or remote depending on the candidate's location and qualifications. Travel may be required to meet clients, tour properties, and attend industry events.
