Spherion is recruiting an experienced Commercial Real Estate Paralegal for our client in Ocean, NJ.

In this role you will support attorneys in managing complex commercial real estate deals from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with the preparation, review, and management of legal documents related to commercial real estate transactions, including purchase and sale agreements, lease agreements, and closing documents.
- Conduct due diligence, including reviewing title reports, surveys, zoning documents, and environmental assessments.
- Coordinate with title companies, lenders, clients, and other parties to ensure a smooth and timely closing process.
- Prepare and manage closing checklists to ensure all necessary steps and documentation are completed.
- Draft correspondence, resolutions, and other legal documents.
- Assist in the organization and preparation of commercial loan documents and financing packages.
- Maintain accurate records of transaction files, including updating and organizing electronic and physical files.
- Facilitate post-closing activities, such as recording deeds, mortgages, and other related documents.
- Track and monitor deadlines for due diligence and closing milestones.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a paralegal in commercial real estate.
- Proficiency in reviewing and understanding title reports, surveys, and zoning documents.
- Strong knowledge of commercial real estate transactions, including financing and leasing.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple transactions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in legal software and tools, including Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems.
- Paralegal certification or equivalent experience; a degree in paralegal studies is a plus.
- Notary Public certification is a plus.
