Commercial Refrigeration Project Manager

Pay Range: $120,000 - $150,000 DOE + Robust Benefits + Incentives

How you’ll spend your time as a Commercial Refrigeration Project Manager:

• Oversee multiple refrigeration construction projects.
• Develop cost estimates for commercial refrigeration construction projects, including pricing of all materials, labor hours, and subcontractor services to ensure project profitability and effective bidding.
• Create, monitor, and maintain detailed project schedules and critical path timelines.
• Track and manage project expenditures against the approved budget, including processing change orders, approving invoices, and providing regular financial reports to leadership.
• Review, negotiate, and execute contracts and scope of work.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for the client, providing regular updates on project status, addressing concerns, and managing expectations.
• Lead and mentor the project team, facilitating effective communication among internal staff, field crews, and external partners.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including daily logs, RFI logs, submittals, close-out packages, and required safety paperwork.
• Review and interpret complex commercial refrigeration blueprints, P&ID, and specifications to resolve field issues and maintain design integrity.
• Accurately tracking time and materials used on jobs, charging parts and equipment to job numbers, and maintaining records of work performed.
• Coordinate the timely procurement and delivery of specialized refrigeration equipment, controls, and construction materials, managing vendor relationships.
• Implement and enforce a rigorous job site safety program in accordance with OSHA standards and company policy.

Skills & experience we'd like you to have as a Commercial Refrigeration Project Manager:

• 5+ years of commercial refrigeration project management experience.
• 2+ years of construction estimating.
• Strong understanding of construction billing.
• Passion for leadership and mentoring junior team members.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical specifications.
• Excellent communication skills.
