Commercial Refrigeration Technician - Food Manufacturing - Base Salary to 130k/year - Union, NJ

• Our client, a leading food manufacturer in Union, NJ, is hiring a Lead Refrigeration Technician to join their team as they bring refrigeration maintenance in-house for the first time. This is a hands-on, high-impact role with strong long-term growth potential

Responsibilities:

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial and industrial refrigeration systems
  
• Perform preventative maintenance and ensure system reliability
  
• Work with production to meet facility cooling and storage needs
  
• Ensure compliance with food safety and refrigeration standards

Qualifications:

• 5+ years in industrial or commercial refrigeration (not just HVAC)
  
• Experience with cold storage, ammonia systems, or blast/tunnel freezers
  
• Strong understanding of food facility safety and compliance

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 100k - 130k/year range
