Commercial Relationship Manager III – Tri-Cities, WA
Overview
The Commercial Relationship Manager III serves as the primary advisor for a portfolio of complex commercial clients. This role focuses on developing new business, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring the sound management of a large commercial loan portfolio valued between $50MM and $100MM. The position requires a strategic and consultative approach to client engagement, financial performance, and risk management.
Key Responsibilities
Portfolio Management: Manage a portfolio of commercial loans and relationships, ensuring credit quality, compliance, and adherence to internal policies and regulatory standards.
Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive outreach, referrals, and community involvement. Build a strong network of external and internal partners to drive business growth.
Client Relationship Management: Serve as the relationship executive for assigned clients, providing expert financial guidance tailored to their business needs and lifecycle. Promote relevant financial products and services that align with client goals.
Credit Analysis and Structuring: Conduct advanced financial analysis, underwriting, and structuring of complex commercial credit transactions. Evaluate borrower creditworthiness and ensure appropriate risk assessment.
Collaboration and Leadership: Partner with internal teams to deliver comprehensive client solutions. Participate in strategic discussions, provide subject matter expertise, and mentor junior relationship managers as needed.
Community Engagement: Represent the organization in professional and community activities, enhancing visibility and supporting business development efforts.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field required.
Experience: Minimum of 10 years in commercial lending or commercial credit underwriting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Credit Analyst training preferred.
Technical Skills:
Advanced credit analysis, financial statement review, and cash flow analysis skills.
Strong knowledge of commercial lending practices, policies, and documentation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook (PowerPoint a plus).
Soft Skills:
Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship management abilities.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, exercise sound judgment, and perform under pressure.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range: $107,910 – $178,090 annually (depending on experience, education, and location).
Bonuses: Eligible for discretionary annual cash and stock bonuses.

Work Environment
