Senior Relationship Manager

A leading community business bank is seeking an experienced Senior Relationship Manager to join its North Bay Commercial Banking team.
This is a high-impact, client-facing role responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of commercial banking clients while driving new business development to support ongoing loan, deposit, and treasury services growth goals. The ideal candidate will leverage a strong local network and a consultative approach to deliver customized financial solutions aligned with the goals of business clients and their leadership teams.
The role requires deep expertise in commercial credit, as well as a comprehensive understanding of treasury management, deposit, and lending products. As a trusted advisor, the Senior Relationship Manager will provide strategic insights, identify opportunities to deepen relationships, and ensure high levels of client satisfaction through proactive and responsive service.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage, retain, and expand a portfolio of commercial banking relationships.
Develop new client opportunities through active market presence and referrals.
Analyze, structure, and negotiate complex credit transactions.
Deliver tailored financial solutions across credit, treasury, and deposit services.
Act as a strategic advisor to business owners and leadership teams.
Conduct regular in-person and office-based client engagements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field preferred.
7–10 years of commercial banking experience, including portfolio management and credit underwriting.
Proven track record in new business development and relationship growth.
Strong knowledge of commercial credit, treasury services, and deposit products.
Excellent communication, relationship-building, and consultative selling skills.
