Position Summary:
We are a growing $225 million community bank seeking a seasoned and motivated Commercial Relationship Manager to lead our market expansion into the Tri-Cities. This role is responsible for developing new business relationships, generating quality commercial loans and deposits, and establishing a strong local presence as we build our brand in a new market.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with deep ties in the Tri-Cities business community, strong credit acumen, and a passion for community banking.

Key Responsibilities:
· Drive the bank’s market entry strategy by developing a strong pipeline of new commercial clients.
· Originate and manage a portfolio of commercial and industrial (C&I) and owner-occupied commercial real estate loans. Will do Investment Real Estate
· Source, structure, and underwrite loan requests in accordance with bank policies and risk appetite.
· Develop and maintain deposit relationships, including operating accounts, treasury services, and other banking solutions.
· Build visibility for the bank through active involvement in local networking groups, chambers, and community events.
· Serve as a trusted advisor by understanding client needs and providing tailored banking solutions.
· Collaborate with credit administration and operational staff to ensure high-quality service delivery and efficient loan execution.
· Monitor portfolio performance and manage risk through proactive client engagement and periodic credit reviews.

Qualifications:
· 5+ years of commercial banking experience, with a focus on business development and relationship management.
· Demonstrated ability to build new markets or expand portfolios in underdeveloped geographies.
· Strong understanding of commercial credit, financial analysis, and loan structuring.
· Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements related to commercial lending.
· Excellent interpersonal, sales, and communication skills.
· Proven community involvement and local market knowledge in the Kennewick/Tri-Cities area strongly preferred.
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
