    Commercial Roofing Sales Estimator
    Location: Nashville, TN
    Base Salary: $80–90k + Commission/Bonuses

    Position Overview
    We’re looking for a driven, relationship-focused Commercial Roofing Sales Estimator to join our Nashville team. In this role, you’ll blend technical estimating expertise with the excitement of business development—pursuing new opportunities, nurturing existing client relationships, and delivering accurate, high-value proposals for commercial roofing projects.

    You’ll lead the full sales and estimating cycle: generating your own opportunities, performing site inspections, developing scopes of work, producing detailed estimates, and presenting solutions that position us as the trusted partner for commercial clients. From the first conversation to project handoff, you’ll play a key part in ensuring clarity, accuracy, and client confidence.

    This position reports directly to the Sales Manager.

    What You’ll Do

    • Set appointments with key decision-makers and build long-term relationships with property managers, GCs, building owners, and facility teams.
    • Lead sales presentations that uncover client needs and position the right roofing solutions.

    • Conduct site inspections to gather measurements, photos, core cuts, and details required for accurate pricing.

    • Prepare thorough and competitive proposals using takeoffs, blueprints, specs, field notes, and digital estimating software.

    • Maintain timely, accurate documentation—sales call logs, proposals, client communications, and bid packages.

    • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including Service Management and Leadership, to develop strategies and close deals.

    • Review contracts to confirm scope, requirements, and responsibilities, identifying and communicating discrepancies.

    • Participate in weekly project start-up, pre-bid, sales, and job progress meetings as needed.

    • Follow up proactively with clients to ensure satisfaction, secure repeat business, and generate referrals.

    Required

    • High school diploma or equivalent.

    • 3+ years of commercial roofing estimating experience.

    • Proficiency with The Edge software

    • Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills; ability to produce detailed bids using tech-driven tools.

    • Comfort with heights, ladders, and rooftop environments.

    • Ability to perform accurate takeoffs and core cuts.
