Role Overview
As a Commercial Roofing Estimator/Project Manager, you’ll lead the full project lifecycle—estimating, bidding, planning, and executing commercial roofing projects with precision and professionalism. Key responsibilities include:
Estimating & Bidding: Prepare accurate bids and proposals; conduct site visits to gather essential project information.
Vendor & Subcontractor Management: Coordinate pricing, negotiate contracts, and ensure top-quality materials and workmanship.
Project Scheduling: Develop detailed schedules and phasing plans to keep projects running smoothly.
Project Management: Oversee roofing projects from initial estimate to final inspection, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are consistently met.
Cost & Labor Management: Track project costs, oversee manpower, and ensure budget alignment.
On-Site Leadership: Supervise crews and subcontractors as needed while maintaining strict quality control.
Client Communication: Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring a professional and positive project experience.
Documentation: Manage all project documentation, including purchase orders, production schedules, and close-out materials.
What You Bring
5+ years of experience estimating or managing complex commercial/industrial roofing projects
Advanced understanding of commercial roofing systems, codes, and manufacturer requirements
Experience with database or digitizer estimating software (preferred)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
Strong communication skills and a professional, self-motivated approach
Ability to lead, instruct, and solve problems effectively
Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
Team-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering excellence
