Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Roofing Superintendent to oversee new roof installations and reroof projects in the Cartersville area. This role is responsible for managing crews, ensuring jobs are completed safely, on time, and to high-quality standards.

You will play a key leadership role on job sites—working closely with Foremen, project managers, and clients to keep projects running smoothly from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management & Job Site Oversight:
• Manage daily job site operations for commercial roofing projects
• Ensure projects stay on schedule, on budget, and meet specifications
• Supervise Foremen, crews, and subcontractors
• Visit job sites regularly and track progress

Safety:
• Enforce OSHA and company safety standards
• Conduct safety meetings and job site inspections
• Ensure crews are properly trained and using PPE

Quality Control:
• Inspect work to ensure it meets company and industry standards
• Identify and resolve issues quickly to avoid delays
• Participate in final inspections with manufacturers when needed

Team Leadership:
• Lead and support Foremen and roofing crews
• Assign manpower effectively based on project needs
• Maintain a productive, professional, and team-focused job site

Materials & Equipment:
• Ensure materials and equipment are on-site and ready
• Track material usage and report any shortages or issues

Reporting & Documentation:
• Complete daily logs, reports, and project updates
• Communicate progress, delays, and changes to project managers
• Assist with close-out documentation and final paperwork

Client Interaction:
• Act as the main point of contact on-site
• Communicate professionally with clients, vendors, and subcontractors
• Address questions or concerns quickly and effectively

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of commercial roofing experience
• Previous Superintendent or leadership experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems (TPO, EPDM, PVC, Modified, Metal, etc.)
• Solid understanding of OSHA safety standards
• Ability to read plans, specs, and blueprints
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable managing multiple crews and projects

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites
• Comfortable working outdoors and at heights
• Ability to climb ladders, walk roofs, and lift materials as needed
• Must pass background check and drug screening

Preferred:

• OSHA 30 or similar safety certifications
• Manufacturer certifications
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
